  1. Petra (Jordan)

  2. Great Wall (China)

  3. Taj Mahal (India)

  4. Colosseum (Italy)

  5. Machu Picchu (Peru)

  6. Chichen Itza (Mexico)

  7. Christ the Redeemer (Brazil)

  8. Pyramids of Giza (honorary status)

Seven Wonders of the World Virtual Field Trip for Students

Well technically, your students get to explore 8 locations because the Pyramids of Giza hold an honorary status.

Every location includes up-close, panoramic views through built-in Google Earth links. All of the content is also included which will give your students a broad understanding of each of the Seven Wonders of the World.

This activity is a great way to build background knowledge while providing your students with an interactive learning experience.

Take a Virtual Tour of the 7 Wonders of the World

This activity is set up in Google Slides so all of the content is in one place and the links are built in to save you prep work.

Use this virtual field trip as sub plans, for early finishers, or even as an entry task. Within the trip, you'll find editable response questions that pertain to each location. This is a great way to keep your students accountable and provide an opportunity for your students to use critical thinking skills.

Here's what teachers are saying about my virtual field trips:

"Normally, my students HATE when I am on vacation because it usually means a lot of written work. This activity, however, was an absolute hit!" -K.B.

"We used this project when we returned from break as part of a geography review. Engagement was high, and the students were completely into the activity. It was a fantastic way for them to experience the Wonders of the World! Beautifully done!" - D.C.

Take a Virtual Tour of the Seven Wonders of the World from your classroom

Your students will love the interactive tours that are built into this activity. Through the power of Google Earth, your students can view all of these spectacular sites right from your classroom. Every location includes up-close tours that allow your students to look around and get a more immersive learning experience.

One of the great things about this lesson is that it provides your students the opportunity to take ownership of their learning. This lesson is designed to spark curiosity and get your students thinking about each of the places they learn about and visit.
